This wonderful plaque or wall hanging was hand painted by me with over 20 years experience in selling painted slate in the Pittsburgh area and even through ABBEY PRESS.  I collect the slate from roofers replacing out gorgeous old stately homes throughout the Pittsburgh area. I hand-cut each piece. I can make slate decorations for you, look at the items I have for sale and I can make the same item, even in multiples, larger or smaller.

I can add your family name or saying if there is enough room. I don’t use stencils…all with my Pittsburgh handwriting! 
The largest slates are usually 12″ x 20″ if I have that size in stock.  I hand paint with acrylics and finish the item with acrylic spray which will protect it for years in the inclement weather.
